Visualization (Virtual & Augmented Reality)

Visualization software can highlight trends in your research datasets.  We offer consultation, software, and equipment for visualization of data in both 2D and 3D.

Do you want to view your data on a large screen?  Marston Science Library has a 11’ multi-touch visualization wall along with videoconferencing and this space can be reserved by any member of the UF community.  Visit for a calendar and reservation form.

Want to digitize a physical object to a 3D model or print out a model using a 3D printer?  We have 3D scanners at Marston Science Library, the Health Science Center Library, and the Architecture & Fine Arts Library.  You can also check out a 3D scanner or printer at Marston Science Library.  3D models can be submitted for printing at  Contact Sara Gonzalez for assistance.

Interested in virtual reality or augmented reality?  MADE@UF offers workshops and equipment such as Oculus Rifts and the Hololens.  Visit for more information or contact Sam Putnam)
